Morphine and Alcohol

You're like a morphine and alcohol

Every time we're together, you get so addicting.
You've reached my threshold.
And while we're getting this relationship longer,
My tolerance level gets higher.
But when you're gone
especially when there's no tapering done,
I get these withdrawal syndrome.
I can't eat, I get restless, I can't sleep

So please...
Don't go...
It doesn't matter if I reach the toxicity level,
You'll always be in my system.

mura kag tambal ug alcohol

kada mag-uban ta, makaadik ka.
naabot nako akong threshold.
ug samtang nagadugay ta, nagataas na akong tolerance sa imo.
pero kung mawala ka,
samot nag wala gihinay-hinay,
makatilaw man pod kog withdrawal syndrome.
di ko kakaon, di ko mahimutang, di ko katulog

maong hinaot nako ayaw nalang hawa.
bahalag maabot kog toxicity level,
naa ra gihapon ka sa akong sistema.

Those Arms

And those arms, I miss them.
I always do.
Those arms that held me tight at night,
     when we're both dreaming;
that hushes me when nightmare haunts me.
Those arms that stops me from
     making foolishness that could hurt me;
from running away from my mistakes.
Those arms that embraces my imperfections;
     that protects me from critic
and taps my back that assures me everything's alright.
Those arms that protects me
     from any malevolent being
and ensures my safety when we're alone.
Those arms that gave me the world
     where time stands still;
     and where there's only you and me;

And those arms, I always miss them.

ode to the next in line (the seniors' goodbye)

We're waving goodbye to the new beginning
We're saying hello to happy endings
We were once like you
And not for long, you will be like us, too.
As we entered in this school, we were uncertain
Now we see the differences between now and then.

We were once acquaintances before
Now, we're acquaintances no more
Because we are family
As what we will always be.
We would still throw punch lines
To those who are about to whine
Turning it upside down
What is suppose to be a frown

Never forget to listen to someone's rants
Never forget to make each other feel important
Never forget to know the others roles
Cuz each one of us makes this academe whole
Never forget the memories of our duties and fears
The first times, the hard times and those that brought us tears

With all our hearts, we thank you all
For the scoldings and compliments that we can still recall
We're sorry for the headaches and back pains that our instructors have been through
Because we sometimes become stubborn and forgot about you
Now we, the seniors, will throw the caps up in the air
It is the juniors' turn to do have their fair share.

1/2

half of me settles on the hilltop

while i'm here in the downtown

the whole of me is stargazing

half of me smiles, half of me frowns

i'm holding his right hand

that writes the song of my heart

i'm holding her left hand

where she wears the ring i gave her

i kissed my other half goodbye

as she stays to whisper I LOVE YOU

and half of me drove away

while half of me began to cry

i'm falling for my other half

and half of me can't live without him

our hearts are for keeps

i am you, and you are me

i am the two of us

thus we are one in it

we're no twins but of fate

every half of me makes me complete

Don't Let the Morning Come

you dreamed with me last night, then you'll be gone tomorrow :(

grabbed from here

Please don't let the morning come,
I don't want this moment to end--

the bed time stories we shared;
the future we built under the sheets of dreams;
where our hands were intertwined
while our bodies entangled;

gazing dumbly to the dark skies
and wishing upon the stars;
passionate kisses and warm embraces
that made our hearts beat fast.

After cherishing the laughters of an inside joke,
tickles and giggles like of a child.

I don't want to miss those smiles
that brings sunshine to our night.

I want to sing along with the songs you played
and bring back the memories it hold.

I wish we could sleep like this forever
and never let me go until the dawn breaks the evening sky.

So please don't let the morning come,
unless it brings us the tomorrow
where we promised to live life together

THE SIDEWALK RESIDENT

Tin can and crooked cane
held by the crooked hand
of a crooked man.

He slept on a bed with box
opened flat to serve as his mattress.

His worn out shirt and slacks
fades with his age.

The flies are feasting on his toes.

His sun burnt skin is his pride
for the effort of his living.

The calluses on his bare feet made him strong
as he strides his way on the
scorching streets in the metro.

Coins were tossed on the ground;
he disregards the back ache to pick 'em up.

A joy in his heart,
a sweat on his forehead,
tremors on his hands.

A jaunt to the bakeshop
to have some bread.

A seat in the corner of a street
to satisfy his soul with his sweet treat
and a peace of mind.

the using friend and the deceived one

...

For the Using Friend

For all we know
You always have the charm
of fooling anyone in your desire.
Your skin, fair as satin
and your lips are of cherry;
You sure know how to lure
all the pretty ladies in this tinsel town.
They would say, "you're the best of all my friends;
you're the ideal guy a girl could wish for."
After receiving all the nods and praises,
you walk by them.
Forgetting the secret handshake
and all our buddy embraces.
You were once my friend, dear amigo.
But what went wrong?
We chatted like siblings before.
Now we left yesterday like strangers.
Thank you for treating me like a sister;
like one of your girl-friends; for
making me believe you're the best of all my friends.
End everything with me-- all your
using desires.
Treat everyone else for real.
You'd always be my big brother and
probably you would still be my friend.
But we just can't be for the best of each other.

"I don't know what went wrong, but i know everything happens for a reason."
"I'll let you be the princess of my heart. Not as the queen."

For the Deceived One

Oh my little sister,
you're always my little princess.
Your eyes are so innocent
and your smiles are the sweetest
with your kindness that really
touched my heart.
It made me thought,
"I have to end my friendship with you;
it might lead to something that should not be."
I have her, you love him.
And you only see me as your friend.
I'm sorry, but I don't want my little princess
to be the Queen of my heart.
I cannot tell you this, so
I'd rather forget our secret handshake
and buddy embraces.
I will no longer look into those eyes;
your smiles will remain the sweetest.
Please don't change.
Thank you for being my sister,
my little princess;
for making me one of the best of your friends.
I hope you won't get me wrong.
I just LOVE you...
But we just can't be for the best
of each other

Nocturnal Gold Digger

literally, is she?

At first there was me,
Now, I was blown away;
Thrown out from my chair of royalty.
She stole my scepter and my crown-
Bejeweled by love and passion.
My hands are empty,
Shivering and weak.
I gave her the way
But the nagging says she wants more.
I gave her what she wants,
What she needs is to lure the
Heart of my king.
She wants the world to see
That i was just the second best,
Despite of the fact that
I came ahead of her.
I pushed myself away-
And though we're apart
You seemed to be so free
To say what I don't like to hear.
Insensitive, you are.
Arrogant yet deficient.
You are just amother night-shift stealer.
A naked gold digger.

ship-wreck

ANGST

He left me
Standing stiff and still,
Drenched under the rain
Disguising the tears
Rolling down my cheeks.
My eyes sored,
Red and flaming.
I bit my lip,
Regretting the kiss
He marked on it
Before he made me
Embraced goodbye.
I can do nothing now.
I can't even punch the air.
My fingers are still curled
Into a fist.
I can't move.
I stood here frozen.
Cold. Mad. Blinded.

REGRET
I walked away
After I kissed her.
No turning back
Just to see her cry
Under the rain.
I left her for nothing;
It's a wrong choice
To choose. So wrong.
I can't dare to change
my mind, really.
I am scared.
I'm not brave enough
To say I'm sorry.
I can't even puch the air
But my fingers are in a fist.
I walked on.
I can't look back.
I'm numb. Cold.
Lost and gone.

Take 2 No More

no more second chances
and i've ran out of patience
i waited, i just grew tired
i'm in my senses now
there's no turning back
i'm moving on

i've been down on my knees
begging for you
but you never came
you're preocccupied with your jerky friends
and rather spend time with them

few years passed
you needed me still
you said your life has been incomplete
since the day i left
wait a moment, who left?
you can turn the world
but you cannot turn me
i just want to be happy
and i am what i wanted

i never have to kiss you goodbye
cuz you've been long gone
and i will never say hello
to a love that never was.

pink-hater

damned pink-colored ink
a shade of my enemy
her lips of lies
and cheeks of Judas' kiss
no one can be trusted
they are just a bunch of
wilted pink roses
offered to Charon.

a priceless Prada in a shade
of the lightest red
carried by hand, by shoulder
or by the back
guarded by thief walking in
the brightest streets of the city
really, you can't trust no one.

pink, the desire for love
never forgets the desire for lust
a cherry-scented latex
for a cherry pop
ripped in the middle of your core
and after 270 days,
hear the cry of the sweetest
fruit from a cherry popped
still, you can't trust someone who
has taken you for granted.

Pink.
a stained purity of white
with the blood of red
from the innocent father
a mourning fatherless family
the loss of the one who was
wrapped in a white blanket
drenched in his reddest
erythrocytes.
a powerless individual
losed his fight for his right
now you can't really trust
those who promised you life
of a better living

there is no real happiness
no real love,
nothing's real in
pink.

Anhedonia

sitting at the end of a four-poster bed
looking at your eyelashes
locking your eyes to sleep
snoring your restlessness away

naked and cold, i cried
i'm a hopeless romantic soul
waiting for your return
from the one who owned you

i'm down on my knees
begging for you to leave.
after this body rush,
forget me, forget everything

wake up from your dream
turn yout back from our fantasies
it's no use in loving me
for the love of making love out of me

i'm tired, i'm helpless
i'm sick of living a lie
i'm sick of living this life
i'm going... Goodbye.

Ignoring

i used to ignore this feeling
believing it's all in my head
you gave me something
that made me doubt me in keeping it.
you had me faltered
we were quixotically engaged
i'm running in circles
looking for an escape
i can't help myself from missing you
though you caused me pain
all my aches and screams turned to sigh
and all my laughter stopped as i began to cry
how i wish forgetting you
is as easy as how you entered my life.

By Means Of/ Nothing

i've been thinking about my life with or without you.
i've been sorting myself where would i be with or without you.
i've been reviewing my life since the day i'm with and without you.
i've been living my life with and without you.
i've been happy every time i'm with or without you.
i've been crying since the day i'm with and without you.
i've been losing my sleep since the day i'm with or without you.
i've been driving myself insane when i'm with or without you.
i've been dying since my life is living with or without you.
but if the life i live makes no sense whether i'm with or without you,
then i'd rather choose to live my life with you.

BLURRY

have you ever noticed
how much i tried to hold on
though the thought of you
is not making me strong.

have you ever noticed
that i tried not to give in
though i want to give you up
and these feelings within

have you ever noticed
that your smile makes me cry
though you never seem to notice
that i wanted to say goodbye.

About Me

My photo
i get paranoid about almost everything especially when it comes to relationship, safety, and future.
